ANTS Script Tester - error when attempting to launch

Postby ajt » Thu Jun 14, 2007 8:27 am

When I try to launch the Script Tester I encounter the following error:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name Microsoft.mshtml, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
File name: "Microsoft.mshtml"

Any ideas?

Hi,

Yes -- mshtml is part of Microsoft .NET Framework. In %systemroot%\\Assembly (the Global Assembly Cache), there should be an entry for Microsoft.mshtml. This assembly is used by the script tester to parse HTML content.

It does not seem to be there.

Found it - installing "Microsoft VS2005 PIA Redistributable" added the component to the GAC.

Okay, thanks. I was pretty sure this came with the basic .NET Framework redistributable. I'll look into that.
