Postby Seonaidh » Wed Oct 05, 2011 6:11 am

Hello

This error occured when registering data sources. I am running a compare for the first time between an emtpy local SQL Express 2008 R2 database and an Azure database

I've since been sent this patch which resolved this issue thanks

Same issue is SQL Source Control

Is there a chance that the SQL Source Control tool will get this fix for SQL Azure too? I would love to have it:)

You may find the EAP of SQL Source Control 3 will support it, as it should be using the updated engine from SQL Compare (i've not personally tried it though)

Generally I don't think we'd envisage you'd source control an Azure DB directly, rather, you'd work on a local one then deploy it up to the cloud using SQL Compare.
