Link database to source control... where are the db objects?

So I have linked 4 databases to 4 directories in a Git repository.

Two of the directories seem to have been populated with database objects from the DB.

Two of the directories appear to be empty. Here is the results of a ls from the directory to hold the RpsEmail

RedGate.ssc

Assemblies:

Data:

Database Triggers:

Defaults:

Extended Properties:

Functions:

Rules:

Search Property Lists:

Security:
Asymmetric Keys Certificates Roles Schemas Symmetric Keys Users

Sequences:

Service Broker:
Contracts Event Notifications Message Types Queues Remote Service Bindings Routes Services

Storage:
Full Text Catalogs Full Text Stoplists Partition Functions Partition Schemes

Stored Procedures:

Synonyms:

Tables:

Types:
User-defined Data Types XML Schema Collections

Views:

And every object for RpsEmail shown in the Object explorer is flagged and the comparison window shows text in the Databaseversion and nothing in the Latest source control version.

What gives?
