SQL Server performance monitoring and alerting

For some reasons, we don't give ddl_admin to SQL Monitor role and we know that the trace off is DBCC Showconfig fail to run.
However, SQL Monitor stop monitoring every Monday morning due to permission issue, I've followed the instruction from red-gate to edit"RedGate.Response.Engine.Alerting.Base.Service.exe.settings.config" but it doesn't help.

Thank you for your post.
Please can you send a copy of the configuration file to firstname.lastname@example.org
and quote the support ticket reference number #6647. Please can you also confirm where you got the instructions for the configuration change from as it is possible that you used an out of date version. The URL of any document would be great.
