unable to read SAENCRYPTEDREPORT

Postby jfleisher » Fri Sep 06, 2013 12:18 pm

When receiving error report file back from a customer we are unable to open the error files on out SmartAssembly server.

How do I troubleshoot this issue.

SmartAssembly

This error report is not associated with a valid project ID. Check that the assembly was built using this computer, and that the associated map file is available.

So, firstly- smartassembly cannot match the error report with a known database entry (or it is having a problem finding the associated map file).

Both issues start with the database. Are you sure that you still have the relevant database entry from when this exact application was built?

If you are, we'll need to try to match up the report with the entry and see if its a map file problem.

If you're not sure, we can try to see if you have a n old version of the database that we can restore so you can read this report.
