Crash of WebDev.WebServer40.exe on Snapshot

Postby MrT » Tue May 21, 2013 5:43 pm

I'm trying to profile an MVC application (VS Development Server)but when I try to take a snapshot the webserver process crashes (error log below).

I'm using VS2012 11.0.50727.1 and Ants

Any help would be gratefully received.

To try to get you up and running as quickly as possible- use the 'attach to process' method in ANTS- just start webdev as normal. In Ants- you'll get the list of processes to attach to ad then you can hook in and start to take snapshots hopefully.

If this doesn't work, we might have to inspect a memory dump.

'Attach to process' -- this might be the answer to my question as well.
