Missing snippets?

Postby BlueBSH » Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:48 pm

I previously had older versions of SQL Prompt installed, I reinstalled everything with a new system and installed verison 5.3.4.1 and now I have no snippets except a few. There is a whole 12 now, where did all the other ones go? I have no snippets for things like cursors, even the funny ones like neo and argh are gone... is there anyway to get these back?

Hi

Thank you for your post into the forum and sorry that you have encountered this problem.

To resolve this issue, please download the snippets folder using this LINK.

Close SSMS.
Extract out the snippets folder contained within the downloaded zip file.
Next locate the existing snippets folder normally located in this directory:

C:\\Users\\<user_name>\\AppData\\Local\\Red Gate\\SQL Prompt 5

Rename the existing folder. Next copy & paste in the downloaded snippets folder. Open SSMS and the snippets should now appear.

Many Thanks
Eddie
