Thank you for your post into the forum and sorry that you have encountered a problem.

What exact version of SQL Backup V6 are you using?

Is this server a 64-bit or 32-bit server server? If the server is 64-bit, can you please check the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the sqlvdi.dll file. Both versions of the file should match?

Many Thanks

The version of SQL Backup we are currently using is 6.5.0.73

The sql server 2008 version is running on a windows 2008 64-bit platform.

The versions of sqlvdi.dll files are as followsing:-

sqlvdi.dll (32-bit)
File Version 2009.100.1600.1
Size 129k

sqlvdi.dll (64-bit)
File Version 2009.100.1600.1
Size 163k

Thank you for your reply.

You are still using V6.5.0.73. This version of SQL Backup was only available for two to three weeks before a bug was discovered and fixed in V6.5.0.75.

Therefore can you please upgrade to the latest release, V6.5.1.9 at your earliest convenience. SQL Backup V6.5.1.9 can be obtained using this LINK

Many Thanks
