Blackout Periods and some wait time

Postby Luis Martin » Thu Dec 29, 2011 11:20 pm

I would like to know if there is any way to set:

1) Blackout Periods.
2) Some waits time like: Profiler, backups, etc.

Thanks,

Something like:
1) Don't monitor between 11PM and 7AM.
2) Don't alert when backup, profile, is running.

Hi Luis,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, SQL Monitor does support setting Maintenance Window (monitors but doesn't raise any alert) and also Suspending monitoring (no monitoring or alerting). You can set this via Configuration > Monitored servers page.
