virtual restore question

We first have a back up using redgate, and create the sqb file, then virtual restore it, so after that, can the original sqb file be deleted?

thank you

The backup file must still be available to the virtually restored database. However if you use SQL Storage Compress the backup file is no longer required after the restore operation.
