Feature Request: More encryption key file flexibility

Postby colbya » Tue Jul 26, 2011 12:06 am

We've run into a few cases where we'd like to encrypt various backups and exports with different encryption keys. It would be great if we could assign encryption keys per file extension or another mechanism that would allow more granular control.

Please let me know if there is a more appropriate place for feature requests.

Thanks for the consideration.

Thanks for your post.
We don't currently have a Uservoice forum for our Hyperbac products, so I've added this request to our internal system for you.

The reference is HB-96 - I don't currently have any timescale for this, but it'll get looked at along with other requsts/bugs for potential inclusion in a future release.

Thanks!
