Can rhe new version of SQL Source Control create and update a dbproj project on TFS? The developers in my group build their projects in VS not SSMS, so they need to reference a VS dbproj file. The DBA would rather use SSMS and RedGate's Source control...

SQL Source Control

Postby Sian.Williams » Mon Feb 28, 2011 12:14 pm

Hi,

Thanks for your question. We do support TFS as a Source Control system, however we unfortunately do not support working with DBProj's created by VS.

If you are interested in seeing this in a future version of SQL Source Control, you can vote for it as a feature here if you haven't already done so:

Thanks,
