How to look after that a window is on top

Postby climbing93 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 10:06 pm

Hy

I'm searching for a Solution:

I have a window which has opened a selfmade msgbox, which is always on top.

User subscribe himself and is waiting for an other user. So now he is doing mails and so on. Then, he was selected from an other user.

Now i want to now, if the window is now on the top of the windows, and if not, i'll do something to get the users perceptiveness.

How can i look after that in vb.net?

WindoShow and BringToFront weren't really usefulll for that.

BringWindowToTop http://www.pinvoke.net/default.aspx/user32/BringWindowToTop.html should do what you want.
However, activating windows without the users permission is not considered good practice so Windows will often stop you from bringing a window to the top whatever you try.
