Postby maxlib » Tue Dec 29, 2009 12:53 pm

Hello,

I use my oracle 9.2.0.8 version and I can't do comprae between the schemas on this DB.

Do you support 9i versions? If yes, what I need to do to be able compare schemas on this DB?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Max.

Hi Max,

Thanks for your post.

Our current plan is to only support 10g and 11g for v1 of Schema Compare for Oracle.

We're intending to add support for 9i in a later release, depending on the popularity of the request.

Can I ask what your current setup is? Do you use exclusively 9i databases, or do you have a mix of other versions?

Thanks,

Alice.

If you can email me at alice.easey@red-gate.com, I'll add you to the list of people interested in this feature.

I'm afraid we don't have any definite timescales yet, but we'll keep you posted with any developments in this area.
